The initiators of this website are the descendants of Warja Lavater (Lavater Estate). The website gives an overview of the life and work of the artist, graphic designer, wife and mother and aims to make this versatility of Lavater accessible to the public. Warja Lavater was a storyteller, who was able to show her own and also the Swiss graphic and drawing traditions in an untraditional way with international foresight and humor. We love and miss her.
